Hey Corvo. So... you're still out in Med Bay right now, but I wanna leave this for you when you wake up. Y'know, if you even figure out how to listen to this...
[ His voice is low in the speaker and quieter than usual, like he's trying not to be overheard or, (more likely) trying to keep himself together. All things considered, he's doing a pretty good job, especially for what he has to say. ]
I... I want to tell you I'm real sorry for what I said, Corvo. I'm sorry for tellin' you to stop talkin' to me like you're my father. It's just, I... well I never had a father to tell me what to do, a-and I mean, I wasn't sleepin' right either and made a bunch'a mistakes 'cause of it. I'm supposed to be workin' on my anger. Goin' in the Black Box made that clear. Uh, anyway, I'm real, real sorry for gettin' mad and takin' it out on you. Bet if I listened to you and took better care I wouldn't have gotten sloppy and burned myself.
[ He sighs and pauses to take in a breath, collecting himself again. When he speaks next he sounds slightly more sure... but as he goes on, that sureness quickly fades. ]
So, uh... I'm gunna try to keep you up to date on what's goin' on round here while you're gettin' better. Some of those cat monsters were killed in the hunt, but there's still more. Terra's worried about a few of her friends who're missin'. She's real worried about you, too. I'm tryin' to make sure she doesn't do what I did and miss too much sleep, but... Corvo she's so upset and those creatures are still loose. I don't know what to do.
[ There's another pause, longer this time as he moves the Blackglass away so he can breathe. Though he never admits it plainly, he's scared. It's plain enough to hear, clear and recorded in the speakers. ]
Please wake up soon. If you were round, you'd know what to do... right Corvo?
