Less now most of them dust as soon as killed, but I do wonder if they have been found yet. Sometimes it was tricky trying to work out where to hide them, when they rotted, they would fall down eventually if rats did not find them first.
It's irritating, I prefer it when they're too foolish to ever look up.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
But they do look quite horrified. Which amuses you no doubt.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
There was one on Selena, but... no one to hide, only Jasper was foolish enough to challenge me to steal a crystal off it. He forgot what I was capable of, I think.
He does not, for all he does not look like much. He takes his marches well, useless with firearms, though. But he's asked me to help me make a bow instead, so at least he considers alternative. He'll be a good fighter when he's done.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
It is amazing he does not singe his own eyebrows off.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
To create fire, naturally. Does he do anything else with his magics but incinerate everything in sight?
If you ever have the misfortune of coming to Dunwall, I will recommend you as a duelist if that is your preference.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
Firearms are still far too new to me, let alone these.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
Why would I do that? And of course they do. You look out for them, you are brave and honest, to a fault perhaps but it is still true, and you help to protect and guide them in your way. I have seen you do it. Even if they do not understand you, they still care.
I am learning, and it can be. Muscle memory pulls differently. I am built to a different type of combat, as is Jasper, as are you. They never lend as well as you like to each other.
There's more power to these guns, but I am used to working in combination. Perhaps I just need to find one that fits better to it?
[ okay and maybe, maybe he's dropped his gun more times than is decent to admit out of some habit of having one hand free, for magic, or swords and went to reach for them often enough. ]
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
No, you are resilient, and they will need that lesson for the things we have to do and how much will be lost in doing so. In a better world, we might have nothing to teach. But here? They order us to kill each other to prove loyalty, let alone the planets we must destroy.
I cannot think of a more needed lesson than endurance, than strength of will.
[ and somewhere, he's aware that this is probably a dumb couple fight. ]
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
I do use guns, bastard. Just not like you do. Pistols, by preference. But here? They're just odd. There's barely any recoil, they're so much quieter, the way you load them is different and the weight is off for the power they have. I completely over adjust and it throws off my shot.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
And they have that switch. The one that makes it not fire. Safety switch?

Because they leave nothing? Not hair, bones or clothes. Why worry about moving bodies when you can simply make it as if they never were?
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
On Ajna I summoned them directly inside a Shai that was trying to bite my arm off.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
They ate it from the inside out, it was very effective. Aside from that and in a small controlled environment, I do not use them for that reason.
no subject
because that isn't fun? we need blood splatters. and messes. and bodies!
FROM: wilson.wade@cdc.org
blah blah blah, lame.
no subject
The screams of someone being ripped to pieces by a hundred screeching creatures isn't enough?
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
There is no pleasing you, apparently.
no subject
i'm high-maintenance. i deserve nothing but the best!

Sometimes the magic is too exhausting, so I leave the bodies stacked on top of the chandeliers, is that better?
no subject
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
omg
FROM: wilson.wade@cdc.org
yes. that makes me so happy. yes.

people would shit themselves.
let's do that here. we need chandeliers.

did you do it. did you steal the crystal.
make him eat it.
no subject
Of course I did. Right in front of him. The look on his face was worth it.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
I could not work out if he was embarrassed by it or being beaten so quickly.
no subject
humiliation and suffering build character!
FROM: wilson.wade@cdc.org
really though, you should have made him eat it.

I do that enough to him with his training, I think he is still upset with me telling him what keelhauling is.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
I needed him to enchant it, unfortunately.
no subject
training? oh, so he doesn't suck. that's good. make him suck less!
and belch more fire. haaaaaaaa.

enchant it for what?

Why not? They are a good weapon, and silent, that can be useful. Arrows can be stabbed, if they must be.
from: attano.corvo@cdc.org
... You know that he looks up to you as well, don't you? They both do.

and guns go BANG BANG BANG. way better.

adaptation is the spice of life! wait, that's variety. if you don't push yourself where you're uncomfortable, you'll never change.
look. you look way more badass with a gun. it's just a fact.
